THE FAITH FILES
A muslim woman blogging her reflections, one file at a time

Hello hello !
My name is Aya, and I run the blog called “The Faith Files.” I was born in Morocco into a moderately practicing Muslim family. While I always believed in God, for many years, I practiced my faith primarily because everyone around me did—it was all I knew.
Up until high school, I’d faced periods of depression and sought solace in various distractions, but nothing seemed to bring lasting relief. Until I decided to start my own spiritual journey and look for the truth.
Now, nearly a decade later, I’m a completely different woman, more deeply rooted in my faith than ever before. My life isn’t perfect, but I’ve known the profound sweetness of living with peace and purpose. And it just so happens that I love writing and I’ve been journaling everything along the way!
With this blog, I hope to share my all my research and epiphanies. And hopefully remind someone, anyone, that when you remember God, things tend to fall into place.
Yours truly,
Aya
